The provision of professional counseling services is strictly limited to the jurisdictions where our therapists and counselors are licensed. Our services are currently available to residents of Idaho and Utah. We may extend services to other states in the future, subject to obtaining the necessary licenses.

Brighter Paths Mental Health operates in compliance with the professional licensing laws of each state in which we provide services. Our therapists and counselors are licensed to practice in Idaho and Utah. We encourage all users to verify the licensing status of any mental health professional through their respective state licensing board websites.

All states have laws that may require a mental health professional to break confidentiality in certain situations, such as when there is a clear and imminent danger to yourself or others. This includes laws regarding the duty to warn of imminent harm to self or others, and mandatory reporting of child, elder, or dependent adult abuse.

All professional services provided by Brighter Paths Mental Health are subject to the federal Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) and any additional state privacy laws.
